Coincidence?
I beg to differ
coincidence-
- an accidental, yet seemingly planned, occurrence of events at the same time
- coincide
- to take up the same place in space
- to occur at the same time
- to agree exactly
In a woke world seemingly full of coincidence, I find it very hard to believe these sort of things happen so frequently.
However...
I am no conspiracy theorist.
Instead
I will educate...

The biggest coincidence in American History happened just over 100 years ago.
January 17th, 1920...
A cold winter day which begun the social transformation of an entire population. An entire nation.
The world would never be the same again after this day.
On this date in 1920, The Eighteenth Amendment of the Constitution was officially put into effect. At approximately 12:01 am.
18th Amendment
- prohibits the manufacture, sale, & consumption of alcoholic beverages
RATIFIED: JANUARY 16TH 1919
REPEALED: DECEMBER 5TH 1933
also known as:
Volstead Act
Prohibition
The American experiment best known as Prohibition.
A justified idea full of good intentions
Followed by bad results
As history recalls.
THE ROARING TWENTIES
As America got thirsty;
the Streets stayed hungry
Most Americans viewed this newfound law as a personal assault on their
- character
- liberty
- livelihood
While criminals viewed this newfound law as a personal OPPORTUNITY $$$

One
Major crime figure in particular,
Unfortunately had his 21st birthday fall on January 17th 1920...
died: JANUARY 25TH, 1947 PALM ISLAND, FLORIDA

THE BIG GUY
Turning 21 eliminates all the unnecessary hassles involved that comes along when one participates in the sale or consumption of alcohol.
I find it hard to believe that AL CAPONE turned 21 on the day Prohibition came into effect.
By 1928, Capone's crime syndicate reportedly had grossed an estimated 105 million per year
largely due to the Volstead Act and the never-ending growth of appetite for vice in the mean streets of Chicago.
THAT,
MY FRIENDS,
IS NO COINCIDENCE AT ALL

THE BIG GUY
Can you imagine that?
You wait your whole fuckin' life to stroll up to that asshole doorman at the bar to show him your proof of identification. Less be honest, Al was definitely the doorman in most situations. Guy started bouncin' at saloons when he was 14.
Walk up to the liquor store clerk, give him an ice cold look in the eyes with a calm sense of superiority as you slam your first legal choice of alcohol on the counter. Fake id's only get you so far. Not an absolute guarantee. Gotta go to a certain liquor store. Gotta make sure the right guy is working. Gotta wake up every morning with it still in your wallet. It's a never-ending spinning wheel of pursuit.
Every liquor-related encounter prior to reaching the legal age limit of consumption involves major levels of anxiety each & every time.
It's not the act that causes this effect;
The act in fact dissolves the variable involved
It's the process of retrieving the liquor that provides the problem in most cases.
Anytime an American can use the process of elimination to eliminate the entire process as a whole...
it's a safe bet they're gonna take that shit each & every time.
Turning 21 eliminates all the unnecessary hassles involved that comes along when one participates in the sale or consumption of alcohol.
It's like a VIP pass into heaven.
I find it hard to believe that AL CAPONE turned 21 on the day Prohibition came into effect.
YET HE DID
QUITE THE COINCIDENCE
